The ONE thing I have really hoped for this entire process was a La Canche French range. I love to cook. The kitchen is the heart of the home, and cooking on a high quality range is my dream. Good gear makes your hobby fun and exciting. 

Today, hubby said yes to my stove. He even let me pick the custom color I want and the trim finish. I ordered a 55” Chantilly White with Brass trim. It has a French plate, and 6 burners, plus a warming cupboard, a euro gas oven and two euro electric ovens. We put the deposit down for it today, and it will be hand-made by artisans in France. Four months from now it will board a ship for its two month journey to the US.

And this is a little bit like how it will look in my kitchen!! I can’t wait to cook on this thing! Gah! I’m the luckiest girl alive!
