We were so delighted when fellow photographer and new friend, Nikki Closser, and her husband Dan, talked with us about photographing their new bundle. Nikki was so early in her pregnancy, we didn’t even know Van was Van yet!

Unfortunately, though they had quite the labor and delivery experience. Little baby Van was born 4 weeks early and the delivery was far from easy. With Van being their first baby, it felt like a crazy storm!

Fortunately, Van was born perfectly healthy and strong, just very tiny at only 3lbs 11 oz. He truly is a miracle baby for this family and they are so looking forward to taking baby Van on their surfing adventures, among many other things. He is a lucky little boy to have such amazing parents that will show love and support forever in the years to come!
