Jewel Images Portrait Design Studio is offering professional portraits for Facebook lovers. So if your profile pic needs a little pic-me-up, make a small, suggested ($5-10) donation to help shelter animals and you’ll get an amazing professional portrait of yourself to upload to your social media sites (image will be lightly watermarked with studio logo).

More than 20 other businesses within the Mill Quarter Design District are also opening their doors for the fun. The Humane Society of Central Oregon will be on hand at Jewel Images with their adorable furry friends. So come adopt a new family member too! The Mill Quarter Design District Block Party happens Tuesday July 13, 2010 from 4-8 pm, and stretches east-west from NW Wall Street to NW Lava, and north-south from Industrial Way to NW Colorado Ave.
