Oh it’s so slow. Weather really put the brakes on things for a while. While I was at WPPI, 3 FEET of snow fell in Bend. It happened right as the guys needed to install the trusses on the garage. The trusses are those roof beams. And it’s super dangerous to do when it’s icy. So we waited. And waited. But the foundation is in, and it’s gorgeous!!

In January the walls began to take shape. They’re finally up and it’s starting to actually look like a house now! The views are amazing out the back doors. These video shots were taken with my wide-angel I-phone, so those mountains are actually a lot closer than they look!

Here’s my future kitchen. I’m standing right where the island and stove will be.
