Since ancient Greece, the baby has been the optimistic symbol of ushering in the New Year. We are lucky enough to meet this symbol of rebirth and renewal so often here at Jewel Images. The newborn babies we photograph are a constant reminder to us of how every day is a brand new chance — a fresh, clean start — to learn, grow and love.
We can’t imagine a better way to celebrate the passing of 2015 and the “birth” of 2016 than with a collection of some of our beautiful baby photography from this last year at Jewel Images in Bend, Oregon. We’re sharing a very special video over on our Facebook page to celebrate 2015 and welcome 2016, we hope you’ll take a peek!
We’re also sharing some of our favorite parenting quotes as a reminder to us all about what truly matters — in the life of a child and in the evolution of the parent. Because even though parenting is the most difficult challenge we face as human beings, it is absolutely the most important and rewarding and, in the end, it’s all about the love you share. Because that special place in your heart you never knew you had is forever changed with the birth of a child. Enjoy and Happy New Year to all!
