During an incredible awards dinner last night, we picked up 11 awards including 2009 Oregon State Professional Photographer of the Year. I am so honored and excited to say that, I can hardly stand it!
The field of work competing this year was amazing. There is so much talent in the state, and to be honored with these distinctions is humbling and thrilling! This was my first time entering Oregon’s print competition. I had help from many, many sources-people who have inspired me and guided me, and the clients who allowed me into their worlds to photograph what is so near and dear to them. My clients have trusted me to create their art. They have allowed me to look deep inside their hearts and photograph them in the most emotional and life-changing moments of their lives. Thank for entrusting me with this responsibility. I am honored and blessed. Without you, this would have never come to be.
