One of the country’s top child photographers, Cheryl Jacobs, is coming to Portland and giving a professional workshop at our studio. Five other professional photographers from all over the West will be there to learn from her in a hands-on photographic environment. We need children to photograph during this class.

We are looking for 4-5 children ages 5-17 who will be available August 3rd and/or 4th. Please expect up to 5 hours in studio and on-location. We need parents and children who are enthusiastic about being photographed and can handle long hours.  Parents must be willing to sign a Model Release. It’s going to be a play date for the kids and a lot of fun!

If you and your child aged 5-17  may be interested in spending the day with us, please e-mail Julia at julia@jewel-images.com. There is no charge to attend. Please provide names, ages of children and the day you prefer to attend. Parents will be given full-resolution digital files to print for their personal use.

Cheryl Jacobs Nicolai is a world re-knowned Black and White film photographer. Her work has been published in and exhibited in multiple international venues. Her workshops are one-of-a-kind, and coveted by photographers all over the world. She teaches in England, Australia, Canada and the US on a limited basis.
