What a blessing of a girl Charlotte is! With a girly girl mom and some inspiration from the internet, we came up with some great shots for this session. Charlotte was so cooperative we took TONS of images! Here’s a sampling of this fun session.

Of course we got some smiles out of this cute girl!

Mama brought in some of Daddy’s boots to get a special shot for his office. We love how it turned out!

Detail shots can add the most special touch to a newborn baby album. Such a great way to capture those small features that only newborns can have!

Pearls, pearls, pearls! Like I said, Mom is a total girly girl and we loved playing with that characteristic in this session! The boxes are new too so we were excited to use them, and they are PERFECT for our Bijou Baby Plan. Can’t wait for Charlotte to grow up and come in again so we can get shots of her in these trunks again.

We have had this vintage scale for awhile now and hadn’t found a great way to use it (for safety reasons). For some reason it came to me in this session that we could use a basket hanging instead of the traditional hanging shot (done in a wrap). This way it is much safer for baby and if they aren’t totally sleeping, you can still get the shot!

Charlotte’s mom found this vintage scale and loved it so she brought it in with her. So darling!

Family images are always our favorite! We love the immediate reference point for the size of that little newborn and the love that shows through on the parents faces when they are all snuggled up next to their new addition.
