So here it is! The final house on paper. We got permits and it’s full speed ahead! The house will sit up on a rock outcropping, giving it some height. It’ll be almost directly in the middle of our lot. This will allow us to capture the views. 

The color renderings really give you a feeling for how it will look. It’s pretty symmetrical, and very Joanna Gaines! Would you expect anything else from me? LOL. We switched up the master layout a bit and moved the study/library upstairs. I think it works much better. It’s so nice to be DONE with this phase. Onward!

We began foundation work. I cannot tell you how exciting that is, to finally see it laid out on the landscape! We had to hurry though, the weather got colder and colder. And you can’t pour concrete when it’s super cold. We made it, though. And it’s beautiful. I never thought I’d say that gray concrete is beautiful!
