I can’t believe we did it. We totally took a leap of faith and purchased 10 acres of land just outside Bend, OR. The most came on the market the day after Thanksgiving. We put our offer in on Saturday. 

This journey has been a long one and it took 3 years of searching to finally find the right spot. Other lots came and went. We almost got one a year ago, but it fell through much to our disappointment. But now, we’ve got the best path we could possibly hope for. 10 acres of pure bliss with full 180 degree mountain views  and chance for our sweet boy to grow up in the dirt. We can’t really see the views right now, as we need to take out a few trees, but we’re hoping for at least some mountains!

I dream of a sweet farmhouse with lots of chickens, grass, maybe goats, farm dogs, barn cats and joy everywhere. They are going to have to drag me out of that house with a toe tag on before I decide to leave it! 

We start design this month and I can’t wait! More to come. In the meantime, we are land owners!
