As a passionate photography educator (on CreativeLive, in her online school Jewel Education, and in person all over the world), Julia teaches photographers how to elevate their photography skills and business strategy. Photographers love her for her no-nonsence, authentic personality and approach to business. Parents love her for her kind, baby-whisperer effect on newborn babies. So more often than not, these teaching experiences  involve a fun group of eager photographers and a ton of incredibly sweet newborn babies. What a lucky girl! (Enter the quote we hear so often around the studio “My job does not suck.”)

While in Atlanta for Imaging USA, Julia taught a small group of photographers the art of newborn photography and little baby Grayson was the beautiful model on this day. The studio? Blume Babies in Watkinsville, Georgia. Through a somewhat serendipitous FaceTime call, Blume Babies studio owner Eileen Blume agreed to be the host studio for the workshop and we couldn’t have been happier. A 1400-square-foot space full of reclaimed wood, white brick and exposed concrete. A Restoration Hardware lover’s dream!
