Portland photographer, Julia Radlick, offers artistic family, child, baby, and maternity photography out of her Historic Old Town loft studio. Her 10 years of experience as a seasoned journalist at KATU-TV allows her to see the story in you, capturing it as fine art. She specializes in family and children's portraiture, as well as newborn and infant babies, and pregnancy photography and serves the Portland metropolitan area. She offers a custom, high-end photography experience and her studio staff help her produce exquisite, heirloom portraits that will last for generations. Clients love her edgy, but elegant style both in her signature black and white images, and in vibrant color. Julia has worked with clients, including local celebrities, all over the Portland and Vancouver area as well as out-of-state. She is routinely commissioned across the West Coast. Sessions are available in her studio, located in Portland’s renowned cultural center, the Pearl District, and on-location in your home. She is an active member of Professional Photographers of America and is one of only 11 photographers in the state of Oregon to be professionally certified by the organization. Pregnancy and Newborn Photography
Julia Radlick offers maternity and newborn portraits, and believes this time is by far the most treasured and defining moment in a woman’s life. Julia takes a limited number of maternity sessions a year, and clients will often contact her during their first or second trimester to ensure session availability. Julia captures images that show the intensely growing relationship between a family and their new baby and celebrates motherhood. Several local celebrities have commissioned Julia’s maternity and newborn work, coveting her ability to create a soulful portrait. The first few weeks go by incredibly fast, and her clients commission Julia to make sure those precious moments stay with them always.
High School Senior Portraits

Dog Photography
Four legs get the royal treatment at the Jewel Images studio. A dog owner herself, and completely aware of how important it is to spoil your furry “child.” Julia’s dog portraiture is fun, energetic and eclectic. Vibrant color, but simple and relaxed images that completely revolve around your dog’s personality are the cornerstone of her pet sessions. Our annual Humane Society benefit offers dog lovers the chance to help rescue unwanted pets and capture beloved images of their four-legged friends with just a simple pet food and small monetary donation. Julia can also be commissioned for individual dog portrait sessions and is well known for her loveable, happy-go-lucky style with dogs.
Community Service and Charitable Giving
As a high-end studio dedicated to delivering an exclusive product, we also firmly believe in giving back to our community. We support several national and local organizations. Most noted for our “Celebrating Adoption” sessions, Julia is devoted to the concept of family whether it is through heritage or kinship. Adoption is close to her heart and she contributes as many sessions as possible to local families through Celebrating Adoption and has become the leading photographer in Oregon to support this cause. Jewel Images also offers several limited edition sessions throughout the year to help raise money for many local animal welfare organizations like Dove Lewis and Northwest Vet Specialists Hospitals, along with the March of Dimes and Friends of the Children.

Julia offers studio sessions, as well as on-location around Portland. Her urban sessions are extremely popular and involve shooting on location amongst Portland’s Industrial Arts District and The Pearl District. She conducts sessions in surrounding areas as well, including Sellwood, Oregon City, Stafford, Aurora, Aloha, Beaverton, Tigard, Tualatin, Sherwood, Hillsboro, West Linn, Lake Oswego, Forest Grove, Forest Heights, Camas, Troutdale, The Gorge, Hood River, Vancouver. She is also available for travel, to high desert and mountain sessions in Bend, Sisters and Black Butte, and other areas of the Oregon Cascades. She is routinely commissioned for beach sessions in Lincoln City, Cannon Beach, Seaside, and other areas of the Oregon coast. Extremely popular and booked sometimes several months in advance, her annual limited edition coastal sessions occur in Olivia Beach during August.
